We were walking through the streets when it started raining.  when at first all you could see was the flash of lightening and the sound of gunshots.  when the sounds of the drops on the windows got louder and louder. we ran from the convience store parking lot hand in hand and it was hard to believe that it was raining.  we couldn't believe it for all that we were wearing we were so unprepared. and then we got that feeling in our hearts, the one deep deep down there where it flipped over and the smiles on our faces ached but it felt so wrong without them.  we stood at the doorway looking out at the rain and i saw the way you looked at me with
